UFC president Dana White has announced that Ronda Rousey is in “sick shape” preparing for a fight with bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.

At UFC 193, Rousey lost her the fight to Holly Holm, ending her winning streak and losing the champion title.

Holm, in turn, lost the title to Meisha Tate at UFC 196, and she then passed it on to Amanda Nunes at UFC 200. This time,”The Lioness” will defend her title against Rousey at UFC 207.

“Yeah, exciting. Of course, the return of Ronda is a big thing. She is taking this very seriously,” said White.

“She is weighing 135 lbs right now and doing everything to keep her weight on. She is in sick shape.”

Rousey has an MMA record of 12-1 and is the star favourite for the fight against the Brazilian (who lost 4 of her 17 fights so far).
