A plane with 81 people on board, including the Brazilian soccer club, crashed on near Medellín, Colombia. The authorities reported that almost everyone on board died in the crash, and that there are only 5 survivors.

According to Colombia’s civil aviation agency, the flight was conducted by a small airline company LaMia.

The soccer team was coming from Bolivia to participate in the final of the Copa Sudamericana tournament.

There were 72 passengers on board and 9 crew members, says the statement issued by the Medellín airport. Search and rescue efforts were obstructed by the low visibility and difficulty in reaching the site.
