Ford and Petty’s Garage have come together for another King Edition Ford Mustang to honor Richard Petty, one of the best drivers that ever sped down the NASCAR tracks.

Richard Petty was born on July 02, 1937 and has had something to do with race cars all his life. He has won the NASCAR Championship seven times and had three accidents, but was able to walk away from all three with only minor injuries.

He is the owner of Petty’s Garage and possibly the best race car driver ever.

The new King Edition by Ford will include 43 Mustangs in a very special silver color scheme. They are being made to celebrate and commemorate Petty’s Garage 9th birthday in July 2017.

The standard model King Edition Fords will be powered by six hundred horses. The premier model will come equipped with eight hundred and twenty-five horsepower under the hood and a special power-train with a 3 year/36,000 miles guarantee. These new models have other surprises for their fans, which are a racing spoiler, a King EcoBoost, and a state-of-the-art center exhaust system.
