In the recent years, LeBron James has been more and more vocal about social issues.

The Cavaliers forward announced that James “shed multiple tears” over the death of the Minnesota man, Philando Castile, who was shot and killed by a police officer. Castile’s girlfriend posted a video on Facebook of her boyfriend bleeding to death after the shooting, slumped over in the front seat of his vehicle while the police officer kept his gun trained on Castile.

In addition, James tweeted the hashtagged names of Castile, along with the name of another man, Alton Sterling, who was killed in Baton Rouge by police.
