It was team effort that brought the Golden State Warriors’ signing of Kevin Durant into being.

The NBA free agency’ top prize says what really impressed him was the four Warriors players that showed up to meet him over the weekend in the Hamptons as the team made its pitch.

Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Andre Iguodala met face-to-face with Durant in an attempt to bring him to California, and they were able to accomplish their mission.

During Thursday’s introductory press conference, Durant said, “I was shocked that those four guys came to meet me. To see them together, they all walked in and it looked like they were holding hands.

During his press conference Durant frequently used the word “family” when he referred to the Warriors quartet that came out to see him in New York.
