The NFL star, Chad Ochocino, was confronted by the mother of his ex, stating that he needs to step up and fork over the child support that he owes her daughter. The amount is around $38,000.
So, at this point, if you haven’t been keeping up, you likely want a backstory, so here it goes.
Chad had been leaving a middle school graduation for his son in California when he was confronted by the grandmother of another one of his children, and she brought along some friends to back her up.
The grandmother was attempting to serve Chad with legal court documentation that accuses him of skipping out on child support from her daughter, who’s the mother of a 14-year old son. She claims that Chad owes her daughter an outstanding $38,000 in child support.
Chad stated that he was not attempting to screw anyone, it’s just the simple fact that he cannot afford the extreme monthly payments they had established at the time when he had income from the NFL.
The court ordered Chad to pay child support in the amount of $6,000/month, which comes to $72,000 a year, with an additional $1,000/month put into a college fund.
